Samira Winter, who records as Winter, has released a mixtape version of "hide-a-lullaby," featuring a guest appearance from Peel Dream Magazine.

Winter makes dreamy, hazy shoegaze under the stripped-down alias, and has recently taken on a new role beyond her own recordings, becoming Stereogum's newest video contributor.

Earlier this year, she spent time with the outlet's staff at the Kilby Block Party festival in Salt Lake City, where she made a video that was singled out as one of the standouts of the site's festival coverage.

The new mixtape cut adds to a run of new indie releases tracked on the release calendar this year.
