Wynonna Judd is kicking off The Hard Truth Tour on October 8 at New York's Bowery Ballroom, MusicRow reported on August 3. The 15-city run supports her upcoming solo album, The Hard Truth, due October 2 via ANTI- Records, and continues through November 21 with stops including Houston, Durant, Omaha, Tulsa and St. Louis in October before a run of eight more dates in November closing in Gary, Indiana.

The tour follows Wynonna's co-headlining Raised On Radio Tour with Melissa Etheridge. "As we were making this record, I kept finding myself thinking about you," Wynonna said. "The Hard Truth holds some of the most honest moments I've ever put to music," she added, describing it as being about the things that shape, break and heal people.

"That's the wonderful thing about music," she said. "A song may start in a writing room or a studio, but it doesn't really come alive until it's shared." Bringing the songs to the stage, she added, feels like inviting fans into that journey with her.

Fans in the Wynation Fan Club can buy tickets in a presale starting August 4, with general on-sale beginning August 7. Wynonna is working with the Music Community Foundation to donate $1 per ticket to the Only Love Fund, which supports nonprofits around the country.

The dates join the rest of the fall touring calendar at the tour guide and our country coverage.
