Amble have announced their second studio album, Love And All Its Wares, due on 29 January via Warner Records, The Line of Best Fit reported on August 14. The Irish folk trio released a new single, Last Rites, with the news, produced by Philip Weinrobe and sung by Robbie Cunningham.
The band say the song is about finding a true self amid the chaos of life, describing a pull between an internal voice and the external voices around it. Love And All Its Wares was recorded over three weeks at Grouse Lodge Recording Studios in Westmeath in April, and the band say it moves away from the more live-in-the-room approach of their 2025 record Reverie.
Cunningham sings on the track: "My words are tired, my feet are sore, yet I keep on talking, I'm walking more and more." The band described the song's tension more plainly, saying it's about what happens "when the internal voice in your head and the external voices around you are pulling in different directions."
Amble have lined up a run of 2027 outdoor shows to support the album, opening at Belfast's Belsonic Festival on 23 June and running through Dublin's Malahide Castle on 24 June, Glasgow's SWG3 Galvanizers Yard on 29 June, Limerick's Thomond Park on 3 July, Manchester's Castlefield Bowl on 8 July, and London's Alexandra Palace Park closing the run on 9 July.
Pre-sale tickets for the shows open August 18, with general sale from August 21, well ahead of the album's own January release.
