ARC Music Festival returned to Union Park in Chicago from 4 to 7 September 2026, with a fourth day added to an edition that again leaned on house and techno alongside acts working their way up.
Cloonee is the tech house draw. The UK DJ has built a following on high-energy sets and a catalogue of crowd records, and has become a fixture at clubs and festivals well beyond Britain. Silva Bumpa sits on the same side of the bill from a lower rung, bringing a UK-rooted approach to house and club music and a reputation as one of the genre's more interesting new names.
Two back-to-back sets got picked out for what the pairing does rather than for either name. Discip and Roddy Lima are unalike enough that putting them together is the point, and ARC has form with unexpected combinations. Korolova and Kasia both work in melodic techno and progressive house, and both have built their own paths as women producers in a field that has not made that easy.
Azzecca rounds out the five. The New York artist blends dark, hypnotic house with a touch of indie dance, and her sets translate between small clubs and large festival stages without changing shape much.
The timing sits inside a broader run for the genre. Luminate's 2026 midyear report named dance and electronic the largest US growth genre of the year, up half a share point on the first half of 2025, with current records rather than catalogue driving most of the streaming.
That growth shows up in rooms as well as in numbers.
