Breakaway's debut Houston edition, landing November 13-14 at the Festival Grounds at Shell Energy Stadium, closes the festival's 13-city 2026 tour, Dancing Astronaut reported. It's the brand's largest touring season yet, adding New York City, Salt Lake City and Houston as new markets in a single year, and organizers built the Houston debut like a season finale.
Headliners are Dom Dolla, GRiZ, Cloonee and Tape B, a lineup the outlet described as tech house dominance meeting bass music's current center of gravity. Dom Dolla arrives having spent the year as one of the most in-demand names in global dance music, and his second Breakaway date of the season closes the loop on a tour that opened with him in Tampa in April.
The rest of the bill runs deep across electronic music's subgenres. BLOND:ISH brings Afro and melodic house, INZO covers the psychedelic bass end, and Big Gigantic adds live instrumentation; Kaleena Zanders, Riordan and Daniel Allan represent the vocal and songwriting side of the genre, while wreckno, Know Good, HOL! and Steller round out the low end alongside Frank Walker, jigitz, Ares Carter and 2ŁØT.
Houston's own scene gets unusually deep billing for a debut market: Jake Shore, Hans Glader, Soar, Linska, Celo, Kendi, DEM1GOD and KADE FINDLEY all appear, one of the deeper local commitments Breakaway has made when launching in a new city.
GRiZ's live show, built around saxophone and heavy production, is one of the more theatrical sets in American electronic music, while Tape B's rise from regional favorite to headliner has been among the fastest in bass music. Both acts are staying busy through the end of the year, with GRiZ and Tape B set to headline the return of Nashville's To The Future NYE event in December.
Two-day general admission, VIP, Ultimate VIP and Terrace passes are all available through the Breakaway website, with two-day GA starting at $159. The Houston stop joins the rest of this year's dates on the festival tracker.
