Busta Rhymes has an album with the late producer J Dilla titled Dillagence, HotNewHipHop reported on August 7 and again on August 13. The first single, Spazzz, arrived August 6, followed a week later by Talk Ya Shit, which features Lil Wayne.

J Dilla, the influential producer who died in 2006, and Busta Rhymes have a history of working together, and HotNewHipHop described the album as him honoring that partnership, with Dilla's beats set against his familiar delivery on Spazzz.

HotNewHipHop reported on August 13 that he was setting Dillagence 2 for release on August 25, a second posthumous J Dilla project. The pairing sits alongside a busy stretch for the rapper, who also shared Play If You Want with E-40 that same week.
