diamond* has released a new EP called BLING BOI EP 2, hosted by DJ Holiday, HotNewHipHop reported on August 18, 2026.
The project follows diamond's earlier EP, Bling Slime, released in July and described by HotNewHipHop as one of the best of the year so far, and continues a breakout 2026 for the rapper, who records as part of Young Thug's YSL imprint. Writer Alexander Cole pointed to diamond's swag-rap style, built on catchy flows and beats, as the throughline across both releases.
BLING BOI EP 2 runs seven tracks: "ALL STARS," featuring Pz' and Soutsidesilhouette, "Ferrari," "Splurge," featuring EATJ, "Tattoos All Summer," featuring Pradabagshawty, "Fucked Up," "Sicko," and a closing "Montreality Freestyle" featuring Montreality. The EP leans on a rotating cast of younger artists alongside diamond's own verses across all seven songs.
Cole's review praised the project's energy throughout, writing that each song feels intentional and that diamond's evident enjoyment recording the EP carries through in the final product.
The release keeps diamond's momentum going after a year that has already produced two projects, adding to a busy week of new hip-hop EPs tracked on the release calendar, including his own recent single "Ferrari" from earlier in the same rollout.
