Dogstar played Joy on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on 13 August 2026, in support of their recently released album All In Now. Joy is one of 12 songs on the record.
The band formed in the early 1990s and then went quiet, inactive between 2002 and a reformation in 2020. It is Keanu Reeves on bass, Robert Mailhouse on drums, and Bret Domrose on guitar and vocals.
All In Now is the follow-up to Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, the 2023 album that marked the band's return after that long gap. For this one they worked with the producer Nick Launay, whose credits run through decades of post-punk and alternative records.
The Fallon booking sat inside a working tour rather than a one-off promotional stop. The band played Atlantic City, New Jersey the night after the broadcast aired.
A band with a film star in it invites a particular kind of scepticism, and the way Dogstar have answered it is by treating the reunion as a working proposition: two albums since 2023, a producer with a serious record, and a tour schedule that keeps moving.
