Dove Ellis has announced a UK and Ireland headline tour for 2026. The run opens November 6 at Saint Luke's in Glasgow, before dates at Leeds' Howard Assembly Room (November 28), London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire (December 8) and Dublin's Vicar Street (December 12). Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on Friday, August 7, with a presale the day before; the dates also join MusicSuey's tour guide.
Ellis is an Irish, Manchester-based indie folk artist touring in support of his acclaimed debut album, Blizzard, released last December. The record was recently shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, alongside albums by Paul McCartney, JADE, Nia Archives, Dave, Suede and the War Child compilation Help(2), which Ellis also contributed to, teaming up with Anna Calvi, Ellie Rowsell and Nilufer Yanya on the track Sunday Light.
NME gave his April show at London's Alexandra Palace Theatre a four-and-a-half-star review, praising his "captivating voice" and "unpredictable approach" onstage. In its four-star review of Blizzard, the outlet called the album "mostly a collection of solid guitar songs" that "captures the insatiable energy" behind his early acclaim, adding that Ellis is "already armed with a generational voice, an explorative mindset and a singular writing style."
Ellis is also booked to play Brighton's Mutations festival this October, where he joins Walt Disco and Panic Shack on the latest wave of names as part of a wider 71-act lineup update.
Before any of that, Ellis is set to appear at Tyler, The Creator's takeover of All Points East in London later this month, adding another high-profile support slot to a year that has also brought the Mercury shortlisting and the Alexandra Palace show. MusicSuey has more indie news.
