Mutations Festival adds 71 more acts to its 2026 Brighton bill

Brighton's Mutations Festival has added 71 new acts to its 2026 lineup, led by Dove Ellis, Squid and Working Men's Club, for what organisers call the festival's "most ambitious and exciting edition yet" across 10 grassroots venues on October 23 and 24. Organisers say the two-day event will now host performances from more than 100 international breakthrough and established artists.

Dove Ellis, whose debut album Blizzard is shortlisted for the 2026 Mercury Prize, plays October 24 alongside Alex Cameron, TTSSFU, Pulled Apart By Horses, Georgia Mooney, Liz Lawrence and Florentenes. October 23 is led by Brighton's own Squid, whose album Cowards arrived in early 2025, alongside Working Men's Club, Bdrmm, Insecure Men, Max Winter and former NME cover stars Lip Critic.

Dove Ellis has drawn some of NME's warmest reviews this year. The outlet gave his April show at London's Alexandra Palace Theatre four and a half stars, praising "a generational voice, an explorative mindset and a singular writing style," and its four-star review of Blizzard called it a record that captures the "insatiable energy" behind his early acclaim. He is booked to appear at Tyler, The Creator's takeover of All Points East in London later this month, ahead of his Mutations set.
