Edwin Raphael and Wayfinding book west coast Canadian tour dates

Edwin Raphael has booked his first west coast Canadian dates. The Montreal singer-songwriter opens on September 26 at Loophole Coffee in Calgary, then crosses into British Columbia for headline shows at Red Bird Brewing in Kelowna on September 27 and Green Auto in Vancouver on September 29. Exclaim's Megan Lapierre reported the routing on August 27, and tickets are already on sale.

The run finishes at BreakOut West in Victoria on October 2 and 3, a festival appearance Raphael had confirmed earlier. It follows I Know a Garden, the album he released in 2026 and which Exclaim has argued deserves a wider hearing than it has had.

A second Canadian west coast run landed from the same desk a week later. Wayfinding, the trio of Cassia Hardy of Wares, Ryan Beattie of Frog Eyes and Himalayan Bear, and Marek Tyler of ASKO, set out dates behind their album A Nest of Wrens, due October 9 on Are You Giving Me the Hi-Hat.

Wayfinding start at Edmonton's Queen Bee Festival on September 19, then play Calgary on October 8 with the venue still to be named, Edmonton's the Aviary on October 9, Green Auto in Vancouver on October 10 and a Victoria room to be confirmed on October 11. The announcement arrived with a new single, Shrapnel.

The two itineraries pass through the same Vancouver room eleven days apart, which says something about how narrow the west coast circuit is for acts at this level: a coffee bar in Calgary, a brewery in Kelowna, and one Vancouver venue doing double duty inside a fortnight.
