Gorillaz, The Strokes and FKA twigs will headline Primavera Sound Buenos Aires, Rolling Stone en Espanol reported on August 4. The festival runs November 28 and 29.
Organizers confirmed the 2026 edition will be held at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires, a venue that has hosted major concerts and festivals over recent decades, including shows by Radiohead, R.E.M., Depeche Mode, Morrissey, Blondie and Daft Punk.
The rest of the bill includes Yung Lean, Lily Allen, Courtney Barnett, CMAT, Nation of Language, Cara Delevingne and Danny L Harle, alongside a wide Argentine contingent featuring Santiago Motorizado, Juana Molina, Marilina Bertoldi, Juliana Gattas, Juana Aguirre and Babeblade, among others.
Primavera Sound marked the announcement with a video starring Sunlid singer Lucia Taubas touring landmarks across Buenos Aires, including Puente Barracas, Avenida 9 de Julio, the Floralis Generica and the Teatro Colon, before ending at Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires, set to the song "In Buenos Aires, music is closer than it seems. So is Primavera Sound."
The date lands in the middle of a busy festival run for the Strokes, who played a livestreamed Outside Lands set in San Francisco days earlier and brought out a surprise guest, Charli XCX, during their set there.
Season passes and single-day tickets go on sale through Enigma Tickets, with BBVA customers able to pay in up to six interest-free installments across every sales phase. The festival is filed under our indie coverage.
