Honky Tonk Fest sets its 2026 lineup for a November date near Austin

Honky Tonk Fest has announced the bill for its second annual edition, running November 14 at Star Hill Ranch just outside Austin, near the community of Bee Cave in the Texas Hill Country.

The lineup runs to Rattlesnake Milk, Summer Dean, The Deslondes, Pat Reedy and Honky Tonkin' in Queens, Hannah Juanita, Hayden Butler, Kristina Murray, the Sentimental Family Band and Kathryn Legendre. Saving Country Music, which has covered most of them, calls Summer Dean the current queen of Texas country.

The site does a lot of the work. Star Hill Ranch is laid out like an old town main street, with a century-old house and a chapel among its buildings, and Saving Country Music likens it to Willie Nelson's Luck, Texas, a few miles down the road.

The festival runs two stages and puts as much weight on the dancing as the bill. Two-step lessons and wood floors for dancing are part of the programme, alongside handcrafted goods and food vendors.

A mid-November date is unusual for a festival but makes sense here, since autumn and winter arrive late in the Hill Country. It also sits well clear of the summer bottleneck that forces Texas acts to compete for the same weekends.

VIP passes are on sale and children under eight get in free with an adult. The event is logged on the festival tracker and fits the wider run of Texas country activity this year, including Kaitlin Butts' album Hello, Honky Tonk and Chasen Wayne's concept record The Diamond Saloon.
