Interpol and Queens Of The Stone Age book three Mexico shows for 2027

Interpol and Queens Of The Stone Age have booked three dates in Mexico together for March 2027, with the largest of them in Mexico City. The pair play Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes on 6 March, with Arena Guadalajara on 2 March and Arena Monterrey on 9 March either side of it. The Black Angels open all three.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday 25 September, with an artist presale running at the same time on the Thursday. That is the only ticketing detail NME gives, and the stadium date is the one being promoted hardest.

Mexico City is a market both bands have reasons to treat seriously. Interpol played the biggest show of their career there in 2024, in front of more than 150,000 people in the Zocalo, and Queens Of The Stone Age appeared at the city's Corona Capital festival the following year.

Both are touring behind recent records. Interpol released their eighth album, This Mirror Weighs A Ton, last month, and NME gave it four and a half stars. Queens Of The Stone Age have Perfecth arriving on 30 October, already previewed by the singles Insignificant Other and Easy Street.

Paul Banks told NME this summer that he had wanted the new Interpol record to be a good one after having two children since the last album, and described a set of songs built around striving and reflection rather than a change of sound. That framing sits oddly next to a stadium co-headline, which is the opposite kind of statement.

Before any of this, Interpol have a November co-headline run with Bloc Party across the UK and Europe, including two nights at the British Airways ARC in London, plus North American dates this autumn.
