Early sales estimates from Hits Daily Double project Katseye's new EP, Wild, to move 120,000 to 140,000 units in its opening week, with pure sales said to be driving most of that total for the five-track project, That Grape Juice reported.
If the projection holds, it would give the HYBE x Geffen group their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200, topping the No. 4 peak of 2025's Beautiful Chaos.
The push comes during a stretch when Katseye is performing as a four-piece. Sophia Laforteza stepped back from the group for her mental health earlier this month, and fellow member Manon remains on hiatus too, leaving Daniela, Lara, Megan and Yoonchae to carry the group's recent promotional push, including a performance of "Animal" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Streaming has picked up too: every song on Wild has entered Spotify's US Top 100 and Global Top 200, with "Hootie Frutti" opening at No. 6 in the US and "Animal" at No. 10.
Wild is Katseye's third EP, following an earlier release covering a Charli XCX outtake, and joins the rest of the week's pop chart news.
