Kehlani has postponed two stops on The Kehlani World Tour after a hospital visit left her unable to sing, she told fans on social media Wednesday, August 26.

The singer said she had felt fine during scheduled days off before getting sick overnight. "I've been up all night unable to swallow and in so much pain," she wrote, adding that she had just returned from the hospital and was not medically cleared to perform for the next two shows. She did not disclose a diagnosis.

The affected dates are Wednesday's show at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey, and Thursday's stop at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, both part of the North American leg of the tour that has been moving through the East Coast this month. Kehlani said her team is working on a plan for both dates but did not say whether they will be rescheduled.

"Breaks my heart to have to ever do this," she continued. "I do everything I'm supposed to to ensure my health stays up to par, and it still isn't guaranteed."

Kehlani told fans the R&B tour will pick back up Saturday, August 29, at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront in Richmond, Virginia.
