Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean appeared together at a fan event at 180 Studios in London on August 6, signing records, memorabilia and merchandise for thousands of supporters to mark the 30th anniversary of the Fugees' classic album The Score. Hill also unveiled Diaspora Calling!, a visual installation at Piccadilly Circus made in collaboration with artist Lauren Halsey.

"I am in such a state of embodiment with respect to what's happening that I'm not sure I have the words," Hill said of the moment. "Right now, I have action. My actions are speaking for me through the work itself."

The celebrations culminate on August 7 at Milton Keynes National Bowl, where Hill and Jean perform The Score in full alongside a lineup that includes Erykah Badu, Fireboy DML, Giggs and YG Marley, as part of the Diaspora Calling! run bringing the festival to the UK for the first time.

The London event follows the pair's recent word that new music is coming, and sits ahead of their run co-headlining the 2026 Global Citizen Festival in New York this September. The Score still ranks among the most influential records in hip-hop.
