Madonna and Kylie Minogue's collaboration "Love Sensation" debuted at No. 8 on the Official UK Singles Chart, Madonna's strongest placement there in almost 17 years, since "Celebration" reached No. 3 in 2009. It is her 65th UK Top 10 single, a record-extending tally that only Elvis Presley and Cliff Richard have topped.
The single arrives during what That Grape Juice called a "blockbuster comeback chapter" for the Queen of Pop. Its parent album, Confessions II, debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart last month, making Madonna the first American woman to top that chart in five separate decades.
The pairing itself had been confirmed weeks earlier, when the two singers announced they were finally working together, and it lands in the same stretch that saw Madonna lead this year's MTV VMA nominations.
Kylie Minogue's own numbers moved too. "Love Sensation" is her 37th UK Top 10, stretching her run of Top 10 singles across five consecutive decades, after her 2025 holiday single "XMAS" already made her the first woman to land UK No. 1 singles in four different decades.
Before this collaboration, Madonna and Kylie had a combined 100 UK Top 10 singles between them. "Love Sensation" lifts that shared tally to 102, joining the rest of this week's pop chart news.
