Miranda Lambert will open Nashville's newest venue, The Truth

Miranda Lambert will headline the opening night of The Truth, a new 4,400-capacity venue in Nashville's Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood, in a one-night-only show called "Miranda Lambert: One Night Only." The concert is set for October 1, one day before her new album, Crisco, arrives via MCA.

The show will feature a full set of Lambert's hits alongside a preview of songs from Crisco, backed by a 12-piece string section. "It was magical to hear the way strings can transform a song when we were in the studio creating this record," Lambert said, adding that playing that arrangement live for the first time felt fitting for the opening of "a beautiful new venue right here in Nashville."

Crisco blends the dance hall tradition of country music with a disco-inspired sound across a 12-song tracklist that runs from the title track and "Cowgirl Curtsy" through to a Chris Stapleton duet, "A Song To Sing," and closer "Sunset Marquis." Lambert has been teasing the album's arrival for weeks, including a hand-painted disco ball saddle displayed at her Casa Rosa bar on Broadway.

The Truth becomes one of several new venues opening in Nashville this year, and Lambert's inaugural show gives the country star a rare full-band string arrangement to launch it.
