Porij have been added to Sports Team's UK tour, playing all eight dates of the September run before both bands close it out at DIY Alive 2026. DIY announced the addition on 28 August.
The Manchester four-piece bring a blend of indie-pop, UK garage, jazz and house that has made them one of the more reliable live draws in the country, off the back of their debut album Teething. They are a natural fit for a Sports Team run, which tends to operate somewhere between a gig and a scrum.
Bristol's Pack of Animals join the bill too, playing every date except London, with a fuzzy, punk-dipped take on psych rock.
The tour opens at Southampton's The Brook on 22 September, then goes to The Bullingdon in Oxford on the 23rd, The Fleece in Bristol on the 24th, Arts Club Theatre in Liverpool on the 25th, Bootleg Social in Blackpool on the 26th and La Belle Angele in Edinburgh on the 27th. Newcastle's Digital follows on the 29th and Metronome in Nottingham on the 30th.
The finale is DIY Alive 2026 at EartH Hackney in east London on 3 October, where Sports Team headline a bill that also carries Nell Mescal, Walt Disco and FEET. Tickets for the tour are on sale through Gotobeat and DICE.
Sports Team had already booked these eight small UK shows for September, and Porij were among the names added when the DIY Alive lineup grew. Both runs are logged on the tour guide, and Porij file under indie and electronic.
