Sports Team will play eight intimate UK shows in September, DIY reported on August 4, ahead of the band headlining the magazine's own DIY Alive 2026 festival in East London on October 3.
The run starts at the Brook in Southampton on September 22 and continues through Oxford, Bristol, Liverpool, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Nottingham before the band closes it out at London's EartH for the festival date. Tickets go on presale via Gotobeat from 10am on Thursday, August 6, ahead of general sale the next morning through Gotobeat and DICE.
Sports Team's headline slot puts them alongside a DIY Alive bill that also includes Nell Mescal, FEET and Walt Disco, when the festival returns to Dalston's EartH venue for its latest edition.
The band has kept busy since releasing "Boys These Days" last summer: in October they put out "Medium Machine," the first of seven bonus tracks added to a deluxe edition of the album, ahead of this new run of shows.
The tour follows "Boys These Days," the band's third album, on which DIY said the group's sardonic lyrics took on a slightly more serious tone alongside newfound 1960s pop sensibilities.
