Ravyn Lenae postpones North American tour dates

Ravyn Lenae has postponed her upcoming North American tour for undisclosed reasons, calling off a run that was set to support her latest album, Blue Island.

"After talking with my team, I've made the difficult decision to postpone touring this fall," Lenae wrote in an Instagram Story. She said connecting with fans live is "one of my favorite experiences as an artist," promising the rescheduled shows "will be worth the wait." All previously purchased tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase, and new dates have not yet been announced.

The postponed run had been scheduled to run from mid-September through late October, following her January release of Blue Island and the album's wider rollout in August, with more than 20 US dates including stops at Chicago's Salt Shed, New York's Kings Theatre and Los Angeles' Greek Theatre, plus a Toronto date at History that would have marked her only scheduled Canadian stop.

Lenae will still perform three previously booked festival sets in Europe this month, playing London's All Points East, Lisbon's Kalorma and Ireland's Electric Picnic before the postponement takes effect. Those dates give fans on the other side of the Atlantic a chance to hear songs from Blue Island live even as the North American leg is pushed back.

The postponement comes as Blue Island continues to build Lenae's profile within R&B and soul, and fans hoping to catch the tour when it returns can watch the tour guide for updated dates as her team finalizes a new schedule for early next year.
