Remi Wolf has released "Twiggy," her first new song in two years since 2024's Big Ideas, DIY reports. She gave the track its live debut at Newport Folk Festival, joining Hayley Williams onstage during the Paramore frontwoman's set for a surprise interlude.
"Twiggy" finds Wolf trading her usual tongue-in-cheek humor for something more openly emotional, singing about heartache with lines like "fighting with your exes, you just miss me, I just miss you, we just missed our exit." Of the song's origin, she said: "I wrote Twiggy about people I've been with that lack both butts and emotional availability."
The single marks a deliberate shift in tone from her debut, which DIY describes as introducing the California singer in a blaze of "eye-popping, sweary, technicolour glory," and from 2024's Big Ideas, where she refined her methods while keeping her sound unmistakably her own.
