Rolling Loud sets 2027 festival dates in Orlando and San Bernardino

Rolling Loud has confirmed two American editions for 2027, and the interesting part is the calendar rather than the cities. Rolling Loud Florida goes back to Camping World Stadium in Orlando from 7 to 9 May, and Rolling Loud California takes place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino from 10 to 12 December.

Putting the California edition in December is the notable choice. San Bernardino in mid-December is a different proposition from the spring and summer slots American rap festivals normally take, and it leaves seven months between the two dates rather than clustering them in the touring season.

Tickets are already moving on the Florida end, with general admission, GA+ and VIP passes on sale now. California follows a staged pattern: a presale opens on Thursday 24 September at 11am PT for anyone who signs up, and the general on-sale starts at noon PT the same day.

What is missing from both announcements is any act at all. Rolling Loud has built its business on announcing dates first and filling the bill later, which lets it sell passes months before it has to commit to headliners, and the 2027 pair are being sold on the brand alone.

That is a confident position in a year when rap festivals have looked fragile. Toronto's First Class Fest lost a fifth of its bill the day before doors this month, and Lauryn Hill's Diaspora Calling! cut the Fugees' set short at its first UK edition. Both 2027 dates are logged on the festival tracker with the rest of the hip-hop calendar, and the lineups will follow whenever the promoter is ready.
