Ski Mask the Slump God was arrested in Florida last week on a charge sheet considerably longer than his own account of it suggests.
The rapper was booked into Broward County Main Jail on Thursday 17 September, after a traffic stop by the Florida Highway Patrol. AllHipHop reports he faces five counts of driving under the influence tied to alleged property damage or injury to another person, four reckless driving charges, and one count of operating a vehicle without a valid licence. Bail was set at almost 9,000 dollars and he posted it.
By Saturday night he was at home, and made sure people knew it. Posting to his Instagram Story, he said he had barely tapped one person, that he got out to check on them, that nobody was hurt and that the whole thing happened at four in the morning. "I'm literally at home watching the fights. Like, I been home. It's not that serious," he said.
He backed that up with footage of himself watching the Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy lightweight bout at UFC 331, which was taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles while he sat on his own sofa in Florida.
The gap between the posture and the paperwork is the part worth holding onto. Ten charges, several of them tied to alleged injury or property damage, is not a formality, and a bail hearing set for the following week is where the detail of what happened will start to come out. Nothing has been proved, no plea has been reported, and the arrest itself is the only established fact here.
The timing is awkward for a rapper who has spent 2026 quietly. Ski Mask the Slump God has kept a low profile this year, releasing the single BreakTheRules! in April and working on material for a new album since.
