Twenty One Pilots debut Robot Voices in their only UK festival set of 2026

Twenty One Pilots closed the 2026 edition of All Points East at Victoria Park in London on August 30, and used their only UK date of the year to play Robot Voices for the first time. The song comes from Breach, the eighth studio album Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun release on September 12.

Emi Grace, who had played the festival's E3 Stage earlier the same day, sang it with them. The performance closed with Joseph taking the opening verse and chorus of The Beatles' Let It Be on his own, which turned into a mass singalong across the park.

Covers ran through the rest of the set rather than sitting in one block. One Way absorbed the bridge from Milky Chance's Stolen Dance, Drum Show made room for a verse and chorus of Radiohead's Creep, and Jumpsuit carried a passage of City Walls. Later, a pre-recorded Jack White appeared on the screens to hand over Seven Nation Army. "I give Tyler and Josh permission to do this," he said, and the band played it.

That cover has a short history behind it. Twenty One Pilots first performed Seven Nation Army at The White Stripes' Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction last November, then kept it in the 2026 festival rotation, including their Sziget headline set in August.

The London show was also an experiment in how a stadium sized rock act documents itself. Ahead of the weekend the band handed out Hi-8 and miniDV cameras to selected ticket holders, a scheme run by creative and content director Mark C. Eshleman, so the footage of the day would come from the crowd rather than a production truck.

Joseph and Dun have circled British festivals for most of their career. They headlined Reading and Leeds in 2019, closing with an Oasis cover, and released the concert film More Than We Ever Imagined earlier this year from a Mexico City show played to 65,000 people.
