Umphrey's McGee set two UMBowl XII shows at Milwaukee's Pabst Theater

Umphrey's McGee will hold UMBowl XII at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee on October 9 and 10, JamBase reported. The football-themed event is built around fan input and runs across two nights.

Earlier editions were held in Chicago, New York, Las Vegas and Boston, and last year's UMBowl was staged at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. This is the first time it has come to Milwaukee, though JamBase noted the band is no stranger to the city, which sits just north of their hometown of Chicago.

Press materials put the format as fan votes, real-time audibles, deep cuts and three sets each night. "After 11 UMBowls, we've learned one thing," the note read, before adding that "trying to predict what's going to happen is a waste of time."

Umphrey's McGee have shared stages across the jam circuit before, including a joint encore with moe. in Grand Rapids. Elsewhere on the autumn calendar, Joe Russo's Almost Dead have booked three November shows to close out their touring year.

UMBowl sits inside a longer autumn stretch for the band. JamBase lists three nights at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellvue, Colorado from September 25, then George's Majestic in Fayetteville, Arkansas on September 30, Satellite Music Hall in Memphis on October 1, and two nights at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville on October 2 and 3.

Both Pabst dates are on the tour guide with the rest of the autumn rock calendar, and the two shows are ticketed separately rather than as a weekend pass.

Presales and VIP packages opened on August 19. General tickets went on sale on Friday, August 21 at 10 a.m. CT, sold through AXS for each night.
