Weezer have announced The Gathering, a world tour running into 2027 with dates across North America, Japan, the UK and Europe, in support of their 20th studio rock album, The Gold Album, out August 21 via Reprise/Warner. The trek, now filed in the tour guide, opens with a previously confirmed North American leg running through September and October 2026, with The Shins and Silversun Pickups supporting at select US and Canadian dates.
The band heads to Japan in February 2027 for shows in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya, then opens a UK and Ireland run at Dublin's 3Arena on May 12, with arena dates in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham before closing at London's Alexandra Palace and Cardiff's Utilita Arena.
European shows follow in Paris, Amsterdam, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki, with Taking Back Sunday opening across the UK and European leg. The band said they were "incredibly excited" to join the run.
Weezer also shared a new single, "C.E.O.," with a video starring Tony Hawk and Curry Barker, following recent tracks "Shine Again" and "We Might as Well be Strangers." Tickets for the UK and European dates go on general sale August 14, with a fan presale on August 11 for those who pre-order the new album. The general sale for the Japan dates begins September 5 at 10 a.m. local time, and tickets for the North American leg are already on sale.
