Charlotte rapper Boohavinn releases the album ROTY

Boohavinn has released ROTY, an eleven-track album carrying no featured guests at all. The Charlotte, North Carolina rapper put it out on August 28, 2026, closing a stretch of high-energy singles that had already pulled listeners well past his own city.

HotNewHipHop, which covered the release, described Boohavinn as an artist plenty of people had already filed under next up, and credited the record to raw energy and flows built to sit on pulsating production. The site's reader score sat at 3.33 out of 5 across three reviews on release day.
