The run picks back up in Brooklyn in February and ends in Boston, with one Canadian date in Toronto.

Dinosaur Jr. have added a second stretch to their North American tour, pushing it into 2027 and marking the release of There Near, their thirteenth record, out through Jagjaguwar.

The first leg runs through the autumn and ends in November. It moves west from Las Vegas on October 9 through Tempe, Solana Beach, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Menlo Park, Sacramento, Portland and two nights in Seattle, then east through Salt Lake City, Denver, Fort Collins, Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio and New Orleans, with Stef Chura opening most of those shows.

The new dates pick the tour back up on February 11 at Brooklyn Steel and keep going for a month. Philadelphia, Silver Spring, Carrboro, Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Athens, Nashville, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Chicago and Detroit follow, with Starcrawler on most of the second leg.

Canada gets one show. The band play Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on March 7, 2027, and then close the whole run at the House of Blues in Boston on March 13. General sale for the new dates opened at noon local time on the day of the announcement.

Announcing a spring 2027 leg on the day the album lands is a particular kind of confidence, and for a band this far into a catalogue it is also practical: thirteen albums is a lot of setlist to move through, and a longer run gives the new record time to settle into it before the tour ends.

The dates are filed under rock and indie, and they sit on the tour guide. We covered the four New York shows the band booked around the album, and long autumn routings have been a theme in our coverage, including Widespread Panic's return to New Orleans for a Halloween run.
