Foo Fighters confirmed a return to Argentina after five years, playing River Plate stadium on February 25, 2027, as part of the Take Cover Tour. Tickets start near 115,000 Argentine pesos through All Access; presale for Macro Visa customers opens August 11, with up to nine interest-free installments, followed by general sale on August 12.
It will be the band's fifth visit to the country. Unlike other legs of the tour, the show combines an electric set with an acoustic stretch, mixing career-spanning material with old covers and songs the band hasn't played in years.
The tour supports Your Favorite Toy, Foo Fighters' 12th studio album, released this year and led by singles "Asking for a Friend," "Your Favorite Toy," "Caught in the Echo" and "Of All People." It's the first album recorded with drummer Ilan Rubin, who joined the band after Taylor Hawkins died in March 2022.
Indie Hoy described the run as a new chapter for the band, revisiting classics from across its catalog alongside the more direct, energetic songs from the new record. Usted Senalemelo and Pacifica are set to open the Buenos Aires show.
The Argentina date follows the band opening their 2026 stadium tour in Toronto and comes not long after they dropped a surprise live EP on Bandcamp. The run keeps Foo Fighters among arena rock's biggest touring draws.
