Karol G announces sixth album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto

Karol G announced her sixth studio album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, from the stage at Rogers Stadium in Toronto during a stop on her Viajando Por El Mundo tour, Rolling Stone reported. The album arrives August 7, just a week after the announcement. Speaking to the crowd in Spanish, she said she had been "locked in for months making new music," and that the record was one she "can't wait to sing with all of you."

Alongside the announcement, Karol G revealed the album's cover art for the first time, projected across the stadium's screens in the same blue tint she has used across tour trailers and promotional photos since announcing her Tropitour in April. She has been teasing the shift for months on social media, telling fans, "If you think you've already seen it all, remember that La Bichota always surprises you," using the nickname she has built her stardom around.

The album follows last week's release of "Matadora" during her tour's opening night, a track Rolling Stone says is likely to appear on the new record even though no tracklist has been confirmed.

The announcement lands in the middle of a run of major moments for Karol G this year, from her ongoing stadium tour to a recent Elle cover story in which she described an evolving sense of self: "The next version of me will be new to people, but it's always been there, dormant."

No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto is her sixth studio album and follows her honor at the AMAs' International Artist Award of Excellence earlier this year.
