Pooh Shiesty's album All Eyes On Shiest debuts at number one while he awaits trial

"All Eyes On Shiest," Pooh Shiesty's new album, topped the all-genre US Apple Music chart and went on to debut at number seven on the Billboard 200, HotNewHipHop reported across three stories between August 8 and August 16. Billboard figures cited by the outlet put the album's first week at around 51,000 album-equivalent units, with only 1,500 of those from pure sales since the record is a digital-only release; the rest came from streaming, totaling 51.59 million on-demand plays.

On Apple Music, the album's run meant knocking off Ariana Grande's Petal and outperforming Karol G's No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto, two of the summer's bigger releases. Guests on the project include Sexyy Red, GloRilla, BIG30, the late Tay Keith, Baby Slime and K Carbon.

HotNewHipHop said the release was something of a surprise, arriving just days after Pooh Shiesty shared a single and album details, and marked his first full-length project in five years, following his 2021 mixtape Shiesty Season, which sold 62,000 to 65,000 units in its first week and debuted at number four on Billboard.

Shiesty addressed the moment himself in an audio message shared online, his first public statement since his arrest. "This is the one that's bigger than the program," he said. "It ain't about how you trip up or how you stumble or how you fall. It's always how you get back up."

The album followed his single Last Man Breathin, shared from behind bars, and its own surprise arrival on Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, the same label run by the man Pooh Shiesty is accused of robbing and kidnapping. It's the latest addition to our hip-hop coverage.

Pooh Shiesty remains in custody and was recently denied bond, HotNewHipHop reported, with his trial in the Gucci Mane case not set to begin until February. His father, Big30, and six others have also been indicted in the case.
