PVA will put out A Dream Like This on 2 October, Clash reported on 19 August 2026. The London trio are calling it a project rather than a follow-up, and it grew out of the album they released not long before it.
The starting point was working out how to play NO MORE LIKE THIS on stage. Deciding how to approach that material, Clash wrote, set off a fresh creative run rather than a set of arrangements.
In rehearsal the songs were teased out in different directions until they had become something else, which Clash described as a parallel version of the album sitting next to it.
Two tracks from the project are out already, both carrying the same subtitle: Rain (Dream Edition) and Enough (Dream Edition).
PVA are not alone in the autumn queue: Andy Stott has announced Late Loop, his first album in five years, and Djrum takes the next DJ-Kicks mix on 16 October. All three are electronic records listed on the release calendar.
One live date is attached to the project so far. PVA play in the round at the ICA in London on 23 October, three weeks after the record comes out.
