Serge Pizzorno joins DJ Calvin Harris on stage for two Hampden Park shows

Electronic DJ Calvin Harris brought out Kasabian frontman Serge Pizzorno for his two biggest hometown concerts to date, back-to-back shows at Glasgow's Hampden Park that drew a combined 100,000 fans on Aug. 1 and 2, with the first night broadcast live on the BBC, NME reported. Alongside hits like "We Found Love," "Bounce" and "Feel So Close," Harris performed his collaboration with Pizzorno, "Release the Pressure," bringing the singer out as a guest both nights.

"Hampden Park get your hands in the air, and make some noise," Pizzorno told the crowd, singing from a smaller stage in the middle of the stadium while Harris manned the decks on the main stage amid pyrotechnics and lights. Pizzorno later posted his own tribute on Instagram: "You turned the home of Scottish football into the home of dance music!"

Harris also brought out singer Clementine Douglas at the Glasgow shows to perform their 2025 single "Blessings," which earned the pair a BRIT Award nomination.

To mark the milestone gigs, Harris launched a limited-edition "rave haggis" in partnership with Scottish butcher Stahly Quality Foods, branded as a tribute to Scottish culture and featuring artwork inspired by the Hampden Park show posters. "Absolutely buzzing to announce my own HAGGIS to celebrate my two Scotland shows this weekend!" the Dumfries-born DJ wrote on Instagram, adding that fans could buy it at the shows or on his website.

The Hampden Park shows capped a big stretch for Harris, who played Tomorrowland for the first time the week before and was confirmed on the soundtrack for driving game Forza Horizon 6. He's set to launch the second leg of his Ibiza residency on Oct. 2.

Pizzorno had previewed the pairing back in February, when "Release the Pressure" first came out. "Calvin and I have been in each other's orbit for about 20 years," he told NME at the time, recalling that he "first saw him perform at Lollapalooza in South America and was absolutely blown away" before the two reconnected and decided to collaborate in the studio. "We sent it to Calvin and two weeks later I received a message: 'Banger incoming. Hotel vibes,'" Pizzorno said. The single followed Kasabian's 2025 track "Hippie Sunshine" and arrives ahead of the band's upcoming album "Act III," with the group also booked to play Reading and Leeds later this month.
