Sombr brought out Noel and Mike Hogan of The Cranberries to play "Zombie" on the opening night of Electric Picnic in Ireland on August 28.
The three-day event runs at Stradbally Hall in County Laois. The American pop artist made an entrance to match the occasion, arriving backstage in a Mercedes and later attempting to split the G.
It was the second Cranberries crossover of the year. In March he closed The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour at Dublin's 3Arena and brought the Hogan brothers out for the band's 1993 hit "Linger," a moment that had fans joking he had earned his Irish passport.
Sombr has been open about where his ear points. Speaking to NME at the BRITs 2026, where he was nominated for International Artist and International Song for "Undressed," he said he was thankful to British listeners for taking his debut album, and named The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Elton John alongside Oasis and The Stone Roses.
Guests have become a habit. In April he played a surprise duet with Billy Corgan at Coachella, where he also performed with Billy Idol and covered a Radiohead song.
The set is logged on the festival tracker with the rest of the rock and pop summer. The Cranberries have their own release news, with a previously unreleased 1994 concert getting an official release, while Sombr's own festival year included a first European headline set at Sziget.
