Tame Impala will headline Rock Werchter's 2027 festival, becoming the first act confirmed for the bill.

Kevin Parker's project will close the festival on Sunday, July 4, at Werchter's Festivalpark. Rock Werchter 2027 runs July 1 through 4, with more acts expected to be announced in the coming months.

The booking follows Tame Impala's recent live return to Belgium, where Parker sold out Antwerp's AFAS Dome in May. It also lines up with Tame Impala's ongoing tour behind Deadbeat, the project's fifth album, which has leaned further into dance and electronic production while keeping its psychedelic core intact.

Tickets for Rock Werchter 2027 go on sale later this autumn, with presale registration already open.

The Werchter booking comes the same week Tame Impala was also announced as the first 2027 headliner for Poland's Open'er festival, giving Parker's band two of Europe's marquee summer slots before either lineup is even half filled out.
