Indonesian metal bands Death Vomit, Deadsquad and Jasad stranded on an Ireland tour

Death Vomit, Deadsquad and Jasad, three Indonesian metal bands touring Europe together on their 2026 Cataclysmic Tour, were left stranded in Ireland this month, and a stranger set up a public fundraiser to get them out. Metal Injection reported on 18 August 2026 that the three say they were abandoned by the promoter who booked the run.

It started with a cancelled show. The bands were due at the Pavilion in Cork on 16 August, and the promoter, Diablo Productions, put the cancellation down to "an unexpected issue with the van." The next night's date at the Underworld in London went the same way.

That second cancellation is the one the bands describe as the worst of it. They say Diablo Productions mishandled the venue, the lodging and the travel, and that the London show had never been booked with the Underworld at all.

In a statement the three said what happened showed a serious lack of preparation, organisation, communication and professionalism from the promoter. "We feel that we have been seriously misled and let down by Diablo Productions," they said, framing the statement as a warning to anyone working in extreme music elsewhere in the world.

The Underworld gave its own account on Instagram on 17 August, the night the show should have happened. The venue said Diablo had not paid it and had not been in contact, criticised what it called rogue and cowboy promoters, and said a decision to pull a show should be made with everyone's agreement and reasonable notice.

The rescue came from outside the industry. Ailsa Dempsey, who lives in Ireland, started the GoFundMe and took the bands and their crew, 16 people in all, into her own house. The target was 10,000 euros, listed alongside 8,557 pounds and 11,575 dollars, enough to move everyone on to Eindhoven in the Netherlands for a show on 20 August.

Dempsey said she had seen at first hand what the bands had been through and was running the fundraiser to get them back on the road, with the Eindhoven date only days off. According to her, the rest of the Cataclysmic Tour will be handled by DF Bookings.

Diablo Productions had not responded publicly by the time Metal Injection published, and donations on the fundraiser were paused even though it had not reached its target.
