Ty Dolla $ign says the Vultures 3 album with Kanye West is still coming

Ye has confirmed nothing, and the series stalled after a second instalment in 2024 that landed badly.

Ty Dolla $ign says the third Vultures album with Kanye West is still coming. Asked about it during a live stream, he told viewers plainly: "I got you on the Vultures 3, you know we gon' do that."

That is one half of a two-part promise. Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West released two Vultures albums in 2024 and told fans a third was on the way, and West then moved on to other work rather than finishing the series.

The first Vultures was a relative commercial success carried by songs like Carnival, though its reception was mixed even among the audience that bought it. The second landed worse, and West afterwards stopped supporting the series and returned to solo work, which produced BULLY.

What has changed is proximity rather than confirmation. The two spent a stretch of last year publicly distanced from each other, and Ty Dolla $ign's live stream comment is the first indication from either of them that the project is not dead.

Ye himself has confirmed nothing. Until he does, a third Vultures record rests entirely on a collaborator's word, and the run of unfinished announcements attached to his catalogue does not make that a safe bet.

The pairing has produced better work in other configurations, and Ty Dolla $ign has kept collaborating widely across hip-hop and rnb-soul, including If I Part 3 with 03 Greedo, while West's year has run through a settled sexual harassment lawsuit brought by a former assistant. Whether Vultures 3 ever reaches a date is the kind of thing that shows up on the release calendar only once somebody files one.
