Weezer put out a track called C.E.O. and set UK and Irish arena dates

Weezer have shared a new track called C.E.O., its video featuring an all-star cast including skateboarder Tony Hawk, and confirmed a run of UK and Irish arena shows for next spring, DIY reported August 5. The tour opens at Dublin's 3Arena on May 12 and closes in Cardiff on May 23, before the band crosses into mainland Europe. Support comes from Taking Back Sunday, and tickets go on general sale August 14, with presale available to those on the band's mailing list.

Between the Irish opener and the UK closer, the band plays Newcastle's Utilita Arena, Manchester's Co-op Live, Leeds' First Direct Arena, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Birmingham's Utilita Arena and London's Alexandra Palace. The European leg then carries the tour to Paris, Amsterdam, Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki, following dates the band played in Japan this past February.

The track is pulled from Weezer's latest self-titled album, already nicknamed the Gold Album by fans, which arrives August 21. C.E.O. leans into the band's own reputation for self-aware pop-rock, the same mix of hooks and humor that has carried them since the 1994 Blue Album.

This is Weezer's next step in a year already built around The Gathering, the world tour they lined up earlier in 2026. The band also just put out a video for C.E.O. that swaps them for a cast including Tony Hawk and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, part of the same rollout.

The single lands on the release calendar, and the newly confirmed dates already sit in the tour guide. It follows festival stops across Europe last summer, including Glastonbury and a show alongside Deftones at Crystal Palace Park, as the rock band moves from festival slots into a proper arena run tied to the new album's arrival.
