The three-song project drops Friday via Jennie's label Odd Atelier and Columbia, following Blackpink's own comeback EP Deadline.

Blackpink's Jennie will release a new three-song EP, Fallen Angel, this Friday, August 28, through her own label Odd Atelier alongside Columbia. The project's title track arrives with a surreal music video the same day, and Jennie has already shared the EP's cover art.

Jennie is one of four members of Blackpink, the K-pop group that has become one of the most successful acts to cross over into the U.S. pop mainstream over the past decade. She released her solo debut EP, Ruby, in 2025, and Fallen Angel marks her second solo project.

The new EP follows a busy year for both Jennie and her group. Blackpink returned earlier in 2026 with its own comeback EP, Deadline, and Jennie has also been guesting on other artists' music: she appears on a remix of Tame Impala's "Dracula" that is currently sitting at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 after peaking at No. 5 last month.

Fallen Angel will carry three tracks: "Fallen Angel," "Heaven" and "Less Than a Lover." Details on any additional promotion or performances tied to the release have not yet been announced.

The pop EP adds to a busy week on the release calendar, where several K-pop acts have projects due before the end of the month.
