Cameron Winter has set out a live album from the night he played Carnegie Hall alone. Live at Carnegie Hall is out on October 9 through Partisan Records, with Play It Again Sam also named by Consequence, and it is his first concert record.
The show was on December 11, 2025, in the Isaac Stern Auditorium, part of the solo piano tour around his debut album Heavy Metal. Winter was 23 at the time, which made him one of the youngest artists to headline the hall's main room.
He played sitting at the piano with his back to a sold-out crowd, reshaping songs from that record. Three compositions had not been released before: It All Fell In The River, Emperor XIII In Shades and If You Turn Back Now.
The two outlets differ on how much of the night made it. Consequence called the release an 11-track LP and printed an 11-song list; JamBase said it holds the complete 12-song performance and printed a setlist that includes Drinking Age, with Vines as the encore.
Consequence also noted that an earlier GQ story had Paul Thomas Anderson and Benny Safdie at the show with a film crew, and that the press release for the album says nothing about any film. The record will be available digitally, on CD and on vinyl.
The album is on the release calendar with the rest of the indie autumn, and we have covered the Carnegie Hall concert film reaching theatres in November and Paul Thomas Anderson's hand in it. Winter himself spends the autumn on the road with Geese, up to and including the band's biggest headline show so far, at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens on October 2.
