Foo Fighters will return to Argentina as part of the Take Cover Tour, playing Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires on February 25, 2027, Rolling Stone en Espanol reported on August 6. Dave Grohl leads the band on the run, with local acts Usted Senalemelo and Pacifica opening the show.

It will be the band's fifth visit to Argentina, following their 2012 debut at Quilmes Rock, a 2015 show at Estadio Unico de La Plata, a 2018 date at Velez, and a 2022 headlining set at Lollapalooza Argentina. Presale tickets open August 11 for Banco Macro Visa customers, with general sale following August 12 through All Access.

The Argentina stop comes as the band's 2026 stadium touring keeps expanding. Foo Fighters opened the Take Cover Tour in Toronto alongside Queens of the Stone Age in early August; the run began in Mexico in January 2026 and continues into 2027 across the Americas, Europe and Oceania, with the band alternating electric and acoustic segments and reaching for deep cuts and covers along the way.

The tour supports Your Favorite Toy, the band's twelfth studio album and the first recorded with Ilan Rubin on drums. Released in April, it arrived three years after But Here We Are (2023), the album that marked the band's return following drummer Taylor Hawkins's death in 2022.

The story lands in our rock coverage and on the tour guide.
