Morgan Wallen has wrapped his Still The Problem Tour, a 12-stadium run of 23 sold-out stops at venues including Bryant-Denny Stadium, Soldier Field, Allegiant Stadium, Michigan Stadium and Lincoln Financial Field, MusicRow reported on August 6. The country star's run closed with two sold-out nights at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Country Now noted, after opening in April with a two-night stand at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
During the tour, Wallen became the first artist to play two consecutive nights at Michigan Stadium and at Clemson's Memorial Stadium, and he played the first concert at Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium in 43 years, the venue's first major show since Hank Williams Jr. played there in 1983. A portion of every ticket went to the Morgan Wallen Foundation, which used the money to donate more than $1 million worth of instruments to 26 schools across the tour's cities, including $40,000 worth of instruments to Sto-Rox Junior/Senior High School in Pittsburgh. "This gift will have a lasting impact on our students and our music program," Sto-Rox superintendent Sonya Coleman said of the donation.
Each stop brought a different surprise walkout guest: Wallen was joined onstage across the run by figures including Nick Saban, Caitlin Clark, Tim Tebow, John Elway and Ray Lewis, along with members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, and opening acts included Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Thomas Rhett, Ella Langley and Gavin Adcock.
The tour closed as Wallen's album I'm the Problem returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for a 14th non-consecutive week, and he debuted his first new song of the year, "Been By Now," at a Baltimore show; the track reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, his 20th career top-10 hit. His duet with Ella Langley, "I Can't Love You Anymore," sits among his two current top-five songs. His single "You Proof" has also been certified Diamond by the RIAA, his sixth Diamond-certified single, the most of any country artist.
