Oasis fans release unseen footage from the band's 1994 Glasgow gig

Fans have made public a video of Oasis playing the Tramway in Glasgow on April 7, 1994, months before the release of the band's debut album, Definitely Maybe. The roughly 30-minute video shows Liam and Noel Gallagher, Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan and Tony McCarroll preparing backstage, then performing a set that opens with "Shakermaker" and moves through "Digsy's Dinner," "Live Forever," "Cigarettes and Alcohol" and "Supersonic."

A group of fans organized through the Live4Ever forum bought the footage and its licensing rights at auction in August 2025 for close to £3,000, according to a post on the Oasis Archive website. They had kept it exclusive to donors for a time before releasing it publicly, along with FM radio broadcast audio from the same night, and are still asking other fans to help cover the cost.

The release comes amid speculation that Oasis will follow their 2025 reunion tour with more UK and European dates in 2027, possibly including a homecoming run in Manchester and a return to Knebworth, where the promoter behind their Live '25 tour was recently granted a new licence to host shows. Liam has publicly ruled out a new studio album, writing on X that he isn't "prepared for the criticism if it doesn't sell 100 million copies in the first hour."

Oasis are also releasing a Steven Knight-directed documentary, Don't Look Back in Anger, in cinemas and on IMAX from September 11, before it streams on Disney+ and Hulu later in the year.
