Faye Webster joins Turnstile for I Care at the All Points East festival

Faye Webster joined Turnstile for "I Care" during their All Points East set on the West Stage at Victoria Park in London on August 28, four songs into the performance.

She was not on the advertised bill for that night. Webster was booked for her own All Points East set the following day, and the guest spot lined up with the release of Never Enough: Versions, the band's reimagined album, on which her rework of "I Care" appears.

That record runs to 22 new interpretations of tracks from Never Enough, with contributions from Elton John, Hayley Williams, Blood Orange, Four Tet and A.G. Cook, alongside Slayyyter, Dying Fetus, Oklou, Floating Points, Panda Bear, Alex G, Julien Baker and Mustafa.

The other notable moment was a cover. Turnstile played their version of The Stone Roses' "I Wanna Be Adored," which they had debuted live two days earlier at The Piece Hall in Halifax and originally recorded in March for Triple J's Like A Version series as a tribute to the band's late bassist Mani. They walked on to Dolly Parton's Kenny Rogers duet "Islands In The Stream."

Frontman Brendan Yates called London a second home for the band, noting that guitarist Meg Mills is from the city and thanking the crowd for always making it feel that way. They played ahead of the first of Tyler, The Creator's two headline sets at the festival.

NME gave Never Enough five stars and put it at number eight on its best albums of 2025 list, and the band won Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance at this year's Grammy Awards, the latter for "Birds."
