Oso Oso have announced an exchange of information, the next album from Jade Lilitri's Long Island project, and released its lead single "know you know me better" alongside the news. The record is out in November on Feral Twin, a new label started by Hop Along drummer Mark Quinlan.

Stereogum's Chris DeVille wrote that the single opens with a surprise string arrangement that may or may not be synthetic, before settling into the emo-tinged guitar pop Lilitri has specialised in for years. It is a small adjustment to a sound that has been consistent across the band's catalogue rather than a reinvention.

Pitchfork reported a November 6 release date and listed twelve tracks, among them "4 AM Redemption", "It's All Bait", "Wind Me Up" and "She Rides in the Stars". The cover art carries a giraffe. It is the first Oso Oso full-length since Life Till Bones in 2024, and it is tracked on the release calendar.

Feral Twin is Quinlan's own venture, and an exchange of information is its first release. Quinlan has worked as a musician, an agent and a talent buyer, and said he wanted the label to be a home for records he genuinely believes in rather than a schedule to fill.

Lilitri will take the band across North America through October and November behind the record. Leisure Hour and Bad Luck support on the East Coast dates, with Liquid Mike and Bugsy handling the western run.

The announcement lands in a busy stretch for indie and rock guitar bands making their own arrangements outside the majors, a pattern that also runs through the Avalanches setting No Bad Memories for October and Little Grandad's debut album plans.
