Stella Lefty became the latest guest to join Mumford & Sons during their three-night run at Madison Square Garden, taking the stage on Thursday, her 24th birthday. She performed her own single "Boston" with the band, then stayed on for their song "Here." The MSG run also brought out Jason Sudeikis for the Ted Lasso theme song and Oscar Isaac for a rendition of "Dink's Song."
"Boston" appears on Lefty's forthcoming debut album, Long Way Home, which follows Stella Lefty setting her first album, Long Way Home, for this month and is due out August 21, just a week after this MSG appearance. The song was released as a single in February and carries melodic elements of Noah Kahan's "Stick Season."
Lefty had already crossed paths with Mumford & Sons once before this run, joining them in July at London's BST Hyde Park. Medium Build supported the MSG shows and Rob Moose played violin with the band across all three nights on their Prizefighter Tour, which continues on to Gilford, New Hampshire.
With Long Way Home arriving in a week, Lefty also has her own Grand Ole Opry stage debut set for September 2, and recently picked up a VMA nomination alongside Ella Langley and Tucker Wetmore, making the MSG cameo one stop in a busy stretch of country milestones this summer.
